Lisa Bunting Thoms has been making bears professionally since November 1997. Over the past 10 Years, her creations have been nominated for several Awards including the TITA, Teddy Bear Scene Reader's Choice Awards and the Ace Awards. They've also been included in all of the major magazines on a regular basis.

As a child, things that made her happy included her dolls, creating sock monkeys, and of course, the holidays, which are a magical time for any child. So Lisa decided to get back to the basics and introduced a new line of bears and rabbits called q.D.paToOtieS, vintage style sock monkeys and other "creatures", as well as some fun holiday pieces inspired by holiday decorations and celebrations of the past. Her blog is entitled Q D Patooties
