Sock Monkey made his annual trek up to Hollywood to partake in the pre-Oscar hoopla. He got to see lots of behind the scenes Academy Award show set up and witness some very strange but amusing characters.

His favorite character was the Gene Simmons wannabe. He really enjoys his work. Entertaining the tourists on Hollywood Boulevard and posing for photos in the courtyard of Graumann's Chinese Theatre is not an easy way to earn a living!

Sock Monkey met a Japanese news crew that wanted to interview him. Typically, Sock Monkey was mum on the request. The Japanese adore Sock Monkey. Maybe they think he's the offspring of King Kong.

All in all it was a fun day!
