One year ago Johnny Cupcakes opened his Melrose Avenue store to a line of customers that circled two city blocks. There was a 6-hour wait to enter his store. I know so because I was there. But, it was worth every second.

Johnny Cupcakes was there in person and he greeted all his "guests" until the last one entered the store after 11 PM. He's a real class act. His parents and sister were on hand greeting the crowds, posing for photos and sharing childhood stories about their boy wonder. Today, JC will be back on Melrose in person to celebrate the one year anniversary of his store. Fans began lining up days ago for a chance to be one of the lucky few who will have the opportunity to snatch up JC's limited editon merchandise and birthday cupcakes!
